UT Inspector Level II

This position requires a previous certification to ASNT-SNT-TC-1A level II with sufficient documented experience hours and classroom training to satisfy the requirements of ASNT-SNT-TC-1A. A successful candidate must be able to pass a general, specific and practical in-house test in both longitudinal and shear wave UT techniques. The ability to interpret drawings, follow a UT procedure and produce a well written concise report is required. The ability to interpret and perform inspections per code requirements in ASME, AWS is a must. Assignments will vary from shop inspections to field inspections. The ability to perform work independently and manage a time schedule is required. Certification as an AWS CWI or ICC welding inspector is a plus. Must have reliable transportation and be a member of Operating Engineers Lo. 3
